PENN AMERICAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL and LEADER LANGUAGE SCHOOLS in Taiwan are looking for conscientious instructors of American English who love working with children and young adults.
We have classes in our institute as well as contracts with local junior and senior high schools for conversational language instruction.
Qualifications: A four-year degree in ANY major from an accredited North American college/university and the enthusiasm to motivate kids to learn English as a foreign language.
Teaching, mentoring, coaching or TEFL/TESOL experience is preferred. You do not need to have any prior knowledge of Chinese. We teach English with English.
Benefits: Free airport pick-up; $NT 55,000/mo. salary, $NT60,000 after six months, with yearly increases, $NT 20,000 bonus upon completion of a one-year contract. (Exchange rate $US1:$NT34.6); Assistance in finding suitable housing and visa processing; Health care; Two weeks paid vacation; Chinese language training (if desired).
