Recruiting Coordinator
YBM/SISA founded in 1961 generated more than 400 million dollars ($US) in sales last year combining our Publishing division: Newsweek Magazine, National Geographic, Readers Digest, etc, Education division: YBM ECC and our Testing Division: TOEIC Exam, Microsoft Office User Exam, SEPT, JPT, etc) is seeking to hire a recruiting coordinator to work at the YBM Head office.

Candidates should have the following qualifications; strong interpersonal skills, able to handle multiple tasks, work under challenging environment, have good organizational skills and good computer skills. The candidate should expect a challenging work environment in a competitive industry and enjoy speaking to people. Who may apply:
Korean-Canadians, Korean-Americans, Ethnic Koreans from English speaking

Must have working or teaching experience in Korea
Must be able to come in for an interview in person.
Minimum BA degree in any major
Native English speaker with some Korean conversation ability

Salary: 2.3 to 2.5 million won per month plus one month’s severance pay each year
Benefits: Health insurance, Vacation days and holidays, Pension tax compliance
Housing: Key money or company provided private studio with rent deduction
Start Date: As early as Oct 30, 2006 (Negotiable)
Work Place: YBM SISA Head office: Chongno 3ga station, Seoul
Work Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday

What to expect

On-the-job training will be provided once hired
Work under supervision of the HR Manager

Day-to-Day tasks
Place advertisements, research sources of ESL candidates, generate resumes
Review & screen applicants
Contact applicants by email and phone
Coordinate available applicants with open positions at company owned schools
