Heilongjiang institute of technology (HIT) is a public institute in the centre of Harbin city, capital of Heilongjiang province.We're looking for a friendly someone to teach conversational English classes. We supply teachers with textbooks and can help new teachers with lesson plans.
Teachers are contracted for eighteen classroom hours a week, and two days off per week, leaving plenty of free time to see the area. The pay's good for China but not a lot by western standards. However you know that shopping is cheap in China. It's a great opportunity to see China and learn a little Chinese--or improve if you've already started.
We can offer several different contracts to suit you but typically a foreign teacher on a one year contract would teach about 20 hours per week.
Contract period: Sep 2008 to July 2009.
Salary: 4,500 to 4,800 Yuan RMB every month.
Allowance: 200 Yuan RMB each month for your travel in China, or relaxing activity.
Airline Ticket: A One-way ticket for a half-year contract, and a Return-way ticket for a one-year contract.
Accommodations: A well-furnish apartment, with splendid furniture, a beautiful bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom and so on.
Boarding place: on campus
